Mayor Lormar’s Random Madness

Tomorrow (December 5^th) is the 74^th anniversary of the repeal of the 18^th Amendment to the United States Constitution. Perhaps the single greatest exercise in mass stupidity this country has participated in until the Controlled Substances Act of 1970 under Mr. Nixon. (Thanks Tricky Dick, you fucktard.)

It only took us a short 14 years to come to our senses and realize that making a crime what people are going to do anyway only causes more problems than it solves…. Unfortunately we went and repeated the same mistake in 1970 and very shortly we will still have not learned our lesson as the so-called “War on Drugs” has almost lasted three times longer than prohibition did with hundreds, possibly thousands of times the cost in lives, families, and dollars with even worse results and repercussions as we enlisted the help of countless other governments under the guise of better relations and created a worldwide problem where under prohibition it was only one that affected us… The rest of the world wasn’t going to be so stupid as we were and listen to a bunch of stupid Christian women’s groups that had no idea what they were talking about to begin with.

Anyway…. Here’s to celebrating our constitutional rights and our ever-flexible charters of freedom. May they survive our stupidity into the next age.
