Remembrance / Veterans / Armistice Day 2007
This holiday season, please remember not only what we have to be thankful for, but who we should be thanking.
Just thought I would take a minute to remind everyone to remember to observe two minutes of silence (one for each of the two great wars) at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, in honor of our fallen heroes in all the wars, including the current one; regardless of whether you agree with it or not.
If you have to ask yourself why… maybe this video will remind you.
For more information about the video, please visit www.remembrance-day.ca.
Oh and if you’re still asking why 11AM on November 11th… See the wikipedia entry on the Armistice with Germany.
This public service announcement brought to you by the letters R, T, F, M, and the number 7.
Cheers.
