Okay, this one completely disgusts me. State officials have investigated this matter and said that the officer acted properly? Not maintaining your landscaping is a crime now? I’m sorry, but the people who are responsible for stupid laws like this should be lined up and summarily shot.
In these desert states i’m sure they charge an arm and a leg for water… So the lady had her water shut off 9 months ago and didn’t water her lawn…. If anything the town ought to be helping her with the problem, not sending officers out to ticket her or arrest her… that’s just plain mean.
I would have refused to give the officer my name too… Especially if he was at the door for such a stupid reason. The police in this country are nothing more than bullies anymore. Maybe one in a hundred thousand deserves to be called officer… but the majority have earned the title PIG and the officer who arrested this woman should be sent little pigs by everyone in the country… so many the post office has to bring them in in an 18 wheeler. Hmm… Perhaps I should spearhead an organization that rewards such stupid cops and government officials that way… would just take plenty of volunteers willing to participate… <EG>
