howdy all
okay, so i’ve been neglecting my blog lately. that’s fine, i’ve been neglecting my life lately and opted to spend about a month in bed…. I think it had something to do with my roommate hounding me for money every time i’d leave my bedroom.
Anyway… On the bright side, I did get around to dropping a line to the Mayor & City Manager to the effect that if they’re really serious about all this green power crap, why dont they put their money where their mouth is and turn these acres of parking lots throughtout Austin into solar power plants?
It’s really a win-win-win situation for all….
The city gets extra power on the grid during the day that doesn’t cost anything to generate, the businesses that own the parking lots get cheap power, and the people get the most valuable commodity in all of Texas….. Shaded parking.
We’ll see if there’s a response… or if they’re really full of crap like I’ve always suspected.
