Mayor Lormar’s Random Madness

Okay, I finally got an item for the most idiotic thing I’ve seen all year…. Unfortunately the sign below is only the runner up now.

Today, during rush hour traffic, some dumb woman (big surprise) parks her benz in the left lane of 6th street (a one-way street) 2 carlengths from the intersection with Guadalupe, gets out (no blinkers, hazard lights, anything) walks 3/4 of a block to the valet station at some stupid hip restaurant, then stands there for 5 minutes waiting for a valet or the supervisor to get there and tell her to move her car out of the traffic. Meanwhile cars are backed up on 6th street & lavaca st both for 3 blocks in either direction because of her utter stupidity. I really had to fight the urge to walk over there and tell her what an idiot she is. Ugh. And I’m sure she saw nothing at all wrong with doing so. Why is it that when a cop needs to be around and do something, they’re nowhere to be found… and when they’re neither wanted or needed, they stick their noses where they don’t belong or harass people who’re not hurting or inconveniencing anyone but themselves…. ugh.

Anyway… here was the runner up… Can you tell me what’s wrong with this sign? If not, see the “All Hail The Angry Bob” entry a few entries back. These people actually expect someone to trust their intelligence enough to sell a $750K office condo? Needless to say, the condos have been finished for well over 2 months and have yet to sell a single one.
